Hiring embedded engineers in a market that mostly teaches web

Nigeria produces excellent software engineers, but most computer science and bootcamp pipelines here are tuned for web and mobile work. Embedded systems — the intersection of firmware, electronics, and hardware bring-up — is taught in far fewer places.

Over the past two years we built an internal onboarding curriculum just to get new hires productive on real boards within a few months instead of a year. That curriculum is the seed of the Anvilware Academy we're now developing into a public programme.
